SOLICITATION DISCLOSURES FOR STATES

Election Administration Resource Center, dba Ranked Choice Voting Resource Center, is a charitable organization exempt from taxation under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Certain states require written disclosures for nonprofit organizations soliciting contributions. Individual state disclosures are below.

Financial and other information about the Election Administration Resource Center’s purpose, programs, and activities can be obtained by contacting the Director of Finance at PO Box 5176, Kinston, NC 28503, or 1-833-868-3728, or as stated below. 

Colorado: Colorado residents may obtain copies of registration and financial documents from the office of the Secretary of State, (303) 894-2680, http://www.sos.state.co.us/, re: Reg. No. 20203013831

Delaware: Delaware mandates specific disclosure requirements for the solicitation of donations: 1) the solicitor must identify themselves and the agency for which the funds are solicited [Election Administration Resource Center, dba Ranked Choice Voting Resource Center.  Funds are solicited for the programs and actions of the organization.] and 2) donors are entitled to question how the funds will be allocated between administrative costs and actual charitable use [For more information, email us at info@rcvresources.org or call at 833-868-3728.] More information can be found at 6 Del. Florida: A COPY OF THE OFFICIAL REGISTRATION AND FINANCIAL INFORMATION MAY BE OBTAINED FROM THE DIVISION OF CONSUMER SERVICES BY CALLING TOLL-FREE (800-435-7352) WITHIN THE STATE. REGISTRATION DOES NOT IMPLY ENDORSEMENT, APPROVAL, OR RECOMMENDATION BY THE STATE. REGISTRATION #: CH62575

Georgia: A full and fair description of the programs and activities of Election Administration Resource Center, dba Ranked Choice Voting Resource Center,  and its financial statement are available upon request at the address indicated above. 

Illinois: Contracts and reports regarding Election Administration Resource Center, dba Ranked Choice Voting Resource Center,  are on file with the Illinois Attorney General. 

Maryland: A copy of the current financial statement of Election Administration Resource Center, dba Ranked Choice Voting Resource Center is available by writing PO Box 5176 Kinston, NC 28503 or by calling 1-833-868-3728. Documents and information submitted under the Maryland Solicitations Act are also available, for the cost of postage and copies, from the Maryland Secretary of State, State House, Annapolis MD 21401, (410) 974-5534. 

Mississippi: The official registration and financial information of Election Administration Resource Center, dba Ranked Choice Voting Resource Center, may be obtained from the Mississippi Secretary of State's office by calling 1-888-236-6167.  Registration by the state does not imply endorsement. 

Nevada: The state of incorporation of Election Administration Resource Center, dba Ranked Choice Voting Resource Center, is North Carolina. Contributions may be tax-deductible pursuant to the provisions of sec. 170(c) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, 26 U.S.C. §170(c).

New Jersey: INFORMATION FILED WITH THE ATTORNEY GENERAL CONCERNING THIS CHARITABLE SOLICITATION AND PERCENTAGE OF CONTRIBUTIONS RECEIVED BY THE CHARITY DURING THE LAST REPORTING PERIOD THAT WERE DEDICATED TO THE CHARITABLE PURPOSE MAY BE OBTAINED FROM THE ATTORNEY GENERAL OF THE STATE OF NEW JERSEY BY CALLING (973) 504-6215 AND IS AVAILABLE ON THE INTERNET AT http://www.state.nj.us/lps/ca/charfrm.htm.   REGISTRATION WITH THE ATTORNEY GENERAL DOES NOT IMPLY ENDORSEMENT.

North Carolina:Financial information about this organization and a copy of its license are available from the State Solicitation Licensing Branch at 1-888-830-4989 within (within North Carolina) or (919) 807-2214 (outside North Carolina).  

Pennsylvania: The official registration and financial information of Election Administration Resource Center, dba Ranked Choice Voting Resource Center, may be obtained from the Pennsylvania Department of State by calling toll-free, within Pennsylvania, 1-800-732-0999. Registration does not imply endorsement.  

Virginia: Financial statements are available upon written request from the Office of Charitable and Regulatory Programs, PO. Box 1163, Richmond, VA 23218.  

Washington: The notice of solicitation required by the Charitable Solicitation Act is on file with the Washington Secretary of State, and information relating to financial affairs of Election Administration Resource Center, dba Ranked Choice Voting Resource Center, is available from the Secretary of State by calling 1-800-332-4483 or visiting www.sos.wa.gov/charities.

West Virginia: West Virginia residents may obtain a summary of the registration and financial documents from the Secretary of State, State Capitol, Charleston, WV 25305.  Inquiries can also be made to Election Administration Resource Center, dba Ranked Choice Voting Resource Center. CONTRIBUTIONS ARE DEDUCTIBLE FOR FEDERAL INCOME TAX PURPOSES IN ACCORDANCE WITH APPLICABLE LAW.

Wisconsin: A financial statement of the charitable organization disclosing assets, liabilities, fund balances, revenue, and expenses for the preceding fiscal year will be provided to any person upon request.
