Episode Transcript

There's been a lot of talk lately about how the 2020 election will look in the midst of COVID-19. While moving to an all-mail election seems like a viable answer, there are a lot of factors that will affect how Americans cast their ballots in November.

In this episode, Amber McReynolds, CEO of National Vote at Home and former Director of Elections for the City of Denver, sits down with the Ranked Choice Voting Resource Center to discuss her own experiences with vote-by-mail implementation and how voting by mail may look as the election officials prepare to hold elections during a pandemic.

Resources mentioned in this episode:

  • National Vote at Home Institute
  • Alaska RCV Primary Results
  • Hawaii RCV Primary Results
  • Kansas RCV Primary Results
  • Wyoming RCV Primary Results
  • Recommendations for running elections in a crisis - UCI Law
